The Role

We are seeking a talented Blockchain Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our blockchain and decentralized applications (dApps) from potential security threats. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement best security practices and ensure the integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential security vulnerabilities and conduct threat assessments in blockchain applications and blockchain protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts and decentralized systems.
• Develop and implement incident response strategies to address security breaches.
• Work with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and threats in blockchain space.
• Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on blockchain technology.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, or Go.
• Familiarity with cryptographic protocols and secure coding practices.

Standout Qualities

• Experience with security tools and methodologies specific to blockchain.
• Knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP).
